Mar 15, 2017 – Developer Allied London has submitted final plans for its £1.3bn vertical village project in Manchester’s St. John district.

Designed by architects Child Graddon Lewis, Trinity Islands will feature 1,400 homes across five towers.

The project will comprise farmers’ markets, retail units and educational facilities, bars, cafes, work space, community galleries, event space and a boat club with direct access to the River Irwel.

James Sidlow, Allied London project director, said: “Trinity Islands will appeal to a wide variety of people with its excellent onsite amenity and community-lead retail offering, as well as its sky gardens and lounges that allow residents to relax and unwind.

“One of the tallest residential schemes in Western Europe, residents will enjoy some of Manchester’s most scenic views.”

Construction work is expected to commence in 2017, subject to planning consent.
