Ealing Council selects Galliford Try Partnerships for Ealing regeneration scheme in UK
August 10, 2017 – Regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships has been chosen by Ealing Council as its development partner to regenerate its existing headquarters, Perceval House, in the UK.
The regeneration scheme includes construction of a new mixed-use project, including 471 new homes, of which 50% will be affordable.
The new development, worth an estimated £275m, will also feature construction of a new council headquarters building, a new library and customer services centre, new retail premises, and residential and commercial parking areas.
A development agreement is likely to be signed by November 2017. After detailed design works and public consultation, the scheme will be placed before the Council’s planning committee by March 2018. Upon approval, work will commence onsite by September 2018 and it is estimated that the development will be completed by 2025.
Galliford Try Partnership has partnered with architects Farrells for the new mixed use project.
Ealing Council leader Julian Bell said: “We are pleased to have picked Galliford Try Partnerships as our partner for this important development. Our offices are in a key town-centre location, but at the moment we aren’t making the best use of this important site.
“The exciting innovative proposal will deliver modern council headquarters; much needed affordable homes, and a brand new customer service centre and library.”
Galliford Try Partnerships CEO Stephen Teagle said: “We are delighted to be working with Ealing Council on this fantastic regeneration project in the heart of Ealing. Our business has a strong track-record in mixed use developments across London and we look forward to working with the Council and our other partners to create high-quality homes and facilities for the local community.”
