Grosvenor unveils £500m plans for Bermondsey project
July 17, 2017 – Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has revealed a draft masterplan for a £500m build-to-rent development in Bermondsey, London.
The development will be built on a12-acre former biscuit factory site and will feature about 1,500 new homes for rent.
The property will also include a new 600-place secondary school; over 110,000 sq ft of public space; 85,000 sq ft of ground floor retail, food, leisure and culture space; as well as around 20,000 sq ft of new play space.
The project, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, is anticipated to lead to the creation of over 900 new jobs.
