Muldoon takes over as regional managing director of Losberger De Boer

Losberger De Boer says Jim Muldoon, its new managing director for the Middle East, Central Asia and Russia, will bring proven operational capability and a “reputation for driving business forward while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction” to the role.
Jim Muldoon, who will be based in the Dubai regional headquarters of the temporary event structure and semi-permanent buildings specialist and has over 20 years of strategic and business development experience together with extensive understanding of Gulf markets through his work in various senior management roles throughout the GCC. His previous management experience spans the retail, building design, fit-out and modular building industries.

Muldoon has stated his intention to build upon this strong market position and the company’s pioneering background in this field,” said the company in a statement. “Muldoon’s past achievements have included achieving year-on-year revenue of over US$100 million through implementing a range of operational management strategies while working for a major UK-based retail group leading 770 staff.”

According to Losberger De Boer, sustainability is a key feature of its temporary building concept. Given most models are already factory manufactured and are relocatable, temporary structure use is a zero carbon choice compared to a new permanent building: “Furthermore, the latest insulation technology deployed produces a 40 per cent decrease in power use for HVAC, compared to more traditional temporary structures, further driving substantial economic and environmental benefits for customers.”
