Muse Developments to build One City Park office building in Bradford city centre
December 30, 2019 – UK-based mixed-use development and urban regeneration company Muse Developments has been selected by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council for the construction of One City Park office building in Bradford city centre, England.
Muse Developments has been selected as the council’s development partner to build One City Park, which is a new office building at the City Park that is a part of the regeneration project of the city centre.
The new development will combine 9,100m² of commercial space with 5,240m² of Grade A office accommodation.
The new development is expected to transform the office market to meet the aspirations of existing and new businesses.
Bradford Council leader Susan Hinchcliffe said: “And the sustainable design specifications are absolutely in line with the Council’s commitment in January 2019 to doing its utmost to tackle the global climate emergency.”
Muse Developments and the council will work together throughout 2020 to formalise the proposed partnership, evolve the design of the building and progress a planning application.
Muse Developments Yorkshire and the North East regional director David Wells said: “This development will form an important part of the Council’s city centre masterplan and we will be delivering a best-in-class destination that attracts new occupiers to Bradford and reinforces the city centre as a fantastic location for business.”
Subject to planning approval, the construction of the project will begin in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2023.
The City Park has become a prime focus for residents and visitors, especially in summer and the opening of the Broadway shopping centre is fuelling public and private sector investment in the district.
