Trinity Capital, Brasfield & Gorrie top out Toringdon 7 office building in US

November 16, 2018 – Toringdon 7, an office building being developed by US-based Trinity Capital Advisors and Brasfield & Gorrie in Toringdon Office Park, in Charlotte, North Carolina, has topped out and is on track for completion in 2019.

The 200,000ft², eight-storey Toringdon 7 is the final building, and the largest and tallest in the park.

Located close to I-485 Johnston Road and Community House Road, the office building features nearly column-free floorplans, floor-to-ceiling windows and a 4.25 per thousand parking ratio.

The Class-A building has been designed by Gensler. Brasfield & Gorrie has been appointed as the general contractor and D&A Wolverine as the civil engineer for the project.

Brasfield & Gorrie and Trinity Capital are jointly working on Toringdon 7 and three more projects in Raleigh.

Trinity Capital is also working on Perimeter Five (Class-A, six-storey build-to-suit for Syneos Health), and 3300 Paramount Parkway (Class-A, three-storey building), all in Raleigh’s Perimeter Park Office Park.

Brasfield & Gorrie division manager Mike Foushee said: “We’ve been working with Trinity Capital for more than a decade and are honored to partner with them to complete their vision of the Toringdon Office Park development.

“With the addition of the new office building and associated parking, this project is an important addition to both Toringdon Office Park and the Charlotte community and adds to our growing portfolio of work in the area.”

Trinity Capital acquired the first two assets in the park, Toringdon 4 and 6, in 2012 and since then, Toringdon Office Park has been a part of the company’s portfolio.

The company brought the entire park under single ownership after acquiring the remaining four buildings. It has invested in capital improvements, including a full-service fitness centre and pocket park.

Trinity Capital partner Walker Collier said: “We’re pleased to reach such an important milestone, both for Toringdon 7 and for the Park. Toringdon continues to benefit from the submarket’s growth, as more and more companies realize that our location, amenities, and access provide employees and clients everything they need.”
