United Tractor & Equipment Ltd. (UTE), Sri Lanka’s leading engineering solutions company, has announced its engagement as the Main Partner for Construction Machinery Equipment for the upcoming ‘Construct Exhibition 2017’.

‘Construct Exhibition 2017’ is organised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL), and this year’s event is being held from 25 to 27 August, for the 17th consecutive year.

UTE’s sponsorship agreement was presented to the organisers recently during the event launch ceremony, attended by distinguished invitees and senior officials in the construction fraternity. Recognised as Sri Lanka’s No. 1 construction exhibition, this event is the largest, most prestigious and influential exhibition to be held in South Asia showcasing the entire value chain of the building and construction industry with all stakeholders present under one roof.

“The annual Construction Exhibition organised by NCASL continues to be the country’s premier event to showcase products and services related to the construction industry. We are proud to partner Construct 2017 and create awareness of UTE’s new and innovative products, and engineering solutions helping our nation’s construction industry prosper. This exhibition is also a platform to showcase UTE’s engineering solutions in championing the country’s construction industry,” said UTE Engineering CEO Riyad Ismail.

Showcasing UTE’s engineering solutions is the new CAT 426F2 Backhoe Loader, to be unveiled at the Exhibition. Ideally suited for local terrains, and attractively priced, this machine will impress contractors for its affordability, quality, endurance, performance, parts availability and UK configuration.

“UTE has continuously led the construction industry as the pioneering supplier of Construction Machinery since 1947. As we celebrate our 70th anniversary we feel it is fitting to showcase our products and capabilities by taking part in the leading Construction exhibition in the country,” said UTE Chief Marketing Officer Nalin Manorathne.

“As the main sponsor of the Construction Machinery show, UTE will be displaying an impressive array of solutions in our stall spreading across 10,000 square feet. CAT construction machinery, power generators and solar systems as well as our product support services will be on display,” explained Manorathne.

Exhibiting other diverse types of construction machinery, UTE will display its CAT 320D2 Hydraulic Excavator and CAT D5K Dozer at the event. Caterpillar experts will also be present at the venue to meet visitors and discuss any queries or requirements.

Helping the country and customers meet challenging power requirements, UTE will be displaying its state-of the art Generators via a separate stall inside the Main Hall. This venue will house UTE’s varying range of power systems and applications for customers to view. Special discounts are also on offer for purchases made at the exhibition.

Live demonstrations of CAT Equipment Management solutions including equipment management analysis tools will be conducted at the event for customers to witness monitoring their technology in real-time. Understanding the emerging advancements and trends in the construction machinery industry, UTE will unveil its latest innovation; an online ‘Parts Store’.

At ‘Construct Exhibition 2017’ UTE will also host a kiosk where customers will have a preview of the online store and can also pre-register for this service. The online store will present customers the option of going online and ordering the parts they need with pricing and all requisite details easily available. “We invite everyone who has an interest in this industry to visit the UTE stall at the Construct 2017 exhibition,” Manorathne added.
